Stewart Taylor is a 24 year-old Pop/R&B singer, songwriter and dancer. A Berklee College of Music graduate, Stewart has worked with Grammy-nominated songwriters Kara DioGuardi (P!nk, Katy Perry), Charlie Puth (Wiz Khalifa) and The 3leven (Meagan Trainor).
“I started working with April while I was attending Berklee College Of Music in Boston. I was very impressed with her work with RedOne (producer for Lady Gaga’s “Poker Face”) and hired her to choreograph my first music video shortly after our first dance class together. She did an incredible job helping me further develop as an artist and gave me choreography that really fit my artistic and musical style.
April made sure my backup dancers and I were 110 percent ready when we arrived on set to start filming, and she helped direct us for the entire 12 hour shoot. I was so happy with how the dance breaks in the video turned out and absolutely loved working with her.”

I’ve had only three lessons with April so far, and I noticed a huge improvement after lesson one. She makes it so easy. You don’t even realize that you’ve set yourself to sound amazing, until you start singing and it’s like “WOAH!”
I’ve always loved to sing, and I’ve performed before, but April gives you the technique you need to know that your voice will sound just how you want it to.
At the end of lesson 3, I hit a belting note at the end of a song that I had NEVER hit before, that always hurt to even try— and I did it easily. We both had chills!

AURORA STARKS
April Forrest is the best vocal coach I’ve ever had. I tried a few singing techniques before but there was always something missing. All my earlier life I was told that my voice was weak and not loud enough, and when I did try to sing loud I was going off pitch. That is why I was always shy to perform live and didn’t know how to solve it.
And as soon as I realized that it was the reason why I was afraid of a professional music career, by some miracle, a friend got me connected with April who did help me solve those problems. She’s like a fairy who appeared out of nowhere, waved her magic wand and got me prepared for the ball. I had no idea how well I could sing and how fast I could learn it with her.
I’m so confident now in my voice and I gain more and more confidence with each class. Now I know I can do live performances and I can’t wait to record my new songs with my new voice. Thank you, April!”
